6 Reasons Why Entrepreneurship is Cool

The earth was originally designed to function on entrepreneurship. If you trace the history of our world to its foundation, folks then were all doing their thing. They were farmers, shepherds, hunters and the likes. Becoming employees is a later phenomenon that exploded after the industrial revolution (1760-1850).

Look around you, even from way back in yester years; the folks that have given most to charity and philanthropy in help of humanity are all entrepreneurs. The Rockefeller Foundation, Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation, the Alfred Noble Foundation and indeed many others have contributed positively to the world with their success in business.

It is rare to see foundations belonging to former employees.

Imaginations are processed
Entrepreneurs usually possess a daring spirit and boundless energy; they strive to surmount challenges around them by thinking differently and the correct application of knowledge. These traits may well be dammed while working as an employee.

One of the coolest things about owning a business is the opportunity to transfer it to your descendants and/or heritors. Business entities like Guinness, Unilever, Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz and many more have been passed down the line over a number of generations.

No matter how successful or hard working your father was in a corporation or company as an employee, you cannot replace him there after retirement or sack.

This helps you to do more in seemingly less time.

In the book 40 Low Start-Up Businesses That Can Make You Rich………, the authors submitted that entrepreneurship is the harbinger of real wealth. Check out the list of the 10 richest people in the world; none of them is an employee. They are all business owners.

Salary earners are usually placed on a fixed income delineated either weekly, monthly or annually. But enterprise owners on the other hand, have unlimited possibilities in earnings and profitability depending on the resources and efforts expended.

More happiness
It has been said that the main essence of humans is the pursuit of happiness. Being an entrepreneur opens you up to bigger opportunities in life, meaning bigger success and subsequently more happiness.

Your sense of self confidence receives a big boost with the knowledge that you are doing something worthwhile that at least 70 per cent of the population would not do.
